Day 1 ARRIVAL FRANKFURT AM MAIN
Upon arrival at Frankfurt Airport, you will be greeted by a representative of our company who will ensure a smooth transfer to your hotel in central Frankfurt. The rest of the day is free for private activities. Visit Römer Square, the main square, and walk from there towards the Main River. Crossing the bridge to the other side will give you a nice view of the Mainhattan skyline, with interesting skyscrapers. Overnight at the Hotel Mövenpick Frankfurt City 4**** or similar.
DAY 2 FRANKFURT - RHINE VALLEY
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will have a day pass for the regional train to visit the Rhine Valley on your own. We will follow you virtually, of course, and help you on this impressive journey. Your first destination will be Rüdesheim am Rhein, known for wine production, especially Riesling wines. In the center of town, the Drosselgasse is a quaint street full of shops, taverns and restaurants. Nearby, Siegfried's Mechanical Music Cabinet is a museum of automated musical instruments. The Medieval Brömserburg Castle is home to the Rheingau Wine Museum, which displays wine paraphernalia from ancient times to the present. If you are looking for a special souvenir, you are sure to find something unique, especially cuckoo clocks. Continue along the Rhine River until you reach Koblenz. And keep in mind that since you have a day ticket, you can stop at each town along the route for a brief visit and then continue on to the next point. Koblenz is a medieval city located at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers, famous for its Deutsches Ecke or German Corner. Take a walk from the train station to this square and you will have an impressive feeling of the Middle Ages. Here, in the German Corner, you will board a boat to navigate the wonderful Rhine River. DAY 3 FRANKFURT - ROTHENBURG - HEIDELBERG - BADEN BADEN - FREIBURG
After breakfast, departure by private vehicle to explore the southern region of Germany. Your first stop will be Rothenburg ob der Taube, a fairytale town frozen in time and the most medieval town on this trip. Seeing the forty-two gates and towers of Rothenburg ob der Tauber etched against the pristine countryside from a distance, you'd swear you were looking at the 15th Century through binoculars. Inside, the almost completely intact city walls and carefully preserved half-timbered houses truly transport visitors back in time. The Town Hall Tower attracts with its magnificent views of the city and the idyllic surrounding countryside. Enjoy a walk on your own through the well-preserved medieval walls and towers that surround the city, and immerse yourself in its romantic atmosphere. After breakfast, leave the hotel on a guided tour of Germany's most visited monument, Neuschwanstein Palace. Departing from Füssen, you will visit this idyllic area at your own pace. Stroll through the picturesque German countryside on your way to the legendary extravagance of the German castles Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. Known for their elaborate construction and world-famous architecture, these two extraordinary structures were conceived by Germany's own Ludwig II, also known as the King of Fables. You'll soon discover why many believe Neuschwanstein inspired Disney's fairytale castles. Get ready to feel like you are living a real fairy tale. Hidden in the solitude of the mountains, King Ludwig II of Germany built two of his dream castles: Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. Both bear witness to the vision of the fairy-tale King of Bavaria. Next you will visit Linderhof Castle, a French Rococo style castle inspired by Versailles and surrounded by perfectly manicured gardens. Breakfast at the hotel. Today's program includes a city tour of Munich, the capital of the state of Bavaria, the third largest city in Germany, after Berlin and Hamburg. Its native name, München, derives from the Old High German Munichen, meaning "place of the monks," due to the Benedictine order who founded the city; hence, the monk depicted on the city's coat of arms. Walk with your guide through the historic city center, including the Karlstor Gate, Munich Cathedral (Frauenkirche), Odeon Square, and Marienplatz, where the city's town hall is located. After the city tour, the rest of the day is free for private activities. In the evening, enjoy an authentic Bavarian experience with dinner at the legendary Hofbräuhaus in Munich.
